Okay... so you've heard me *Praise*
the Flock toolbar over and OVER again... Well, Sorry, I just can't
help it! This is one FREE thing that really has saved a TON
of time...
The other plus to it is... since
you'll be using smaller - thumbnail pictures - it's going to
shorten your download time... Why is that a good thing?
Well, if you're fortunate enough to have a Cable connection (like
roadrunner), or even a Satellite connection... it's not going to
make *that* much of a difference... but there are still TONS of
eBayers that are surfing the WWW on Dial-up... and that difference
in download time... might just keep someone from *backing out* of
your auctions - because they're taking so long to load!
First... you're going to want to
set up an account (it can be a free account!) with Photobucket.

After you've downloaded Photobucket...
you'll want to download
*Flock* HERE!
With Flock... you'll be able to
upload entire folders of pictures at a time... it is an INCREDIBLE
time saver!!
OH... and remember to ALWAYS
optimize your pictures before you upload! This too will help with
your load time (as mentioned above!). Here's the tool that I
use... and LOVE!

After you upload the browser, open
it up, and at the top right, you'll see *UPLOADER*. Click on
that.

It will give you a smaller window that pops up that says
*Drag Photos from your computer here*.
Next, you're going to want to open up your folder of
pictures that you'd like to upload... If you don't know how to get
to your file... this *should* work (if you have the file in your
*My Pictures* Section on your computer).
Click on your START button, at the
bottom left of your screen. If you look on the right-hand
column, you'll see a *MY PICTURES* file... you want to click on
that!

A new screen will come up with everything that's
contained in your *MY PICTURES* folder. Now... you want to
find, and click on the folder that you're going to want to upload
pictures from.

Now, you're going to want to
highlight all the pictures you want to upload. I would
recommend moving, or deleting pictures from the file that you do
NOT want to upload... this just makes it easier to upload ALL the
pictures in the file, in one swoop!
*I* start on the right side, as it
gives me more space to work with... but it can be done the other
way if you'd like...
Left Click, just to the right of
the picture on the right side... HOLD DOWN the button... and slide
it to the left... See how the pictures highlight in green?

Now, you'll want to drag your mouse
(keep holding it down!!) down, keeping it on the left side of the
window... the window will automatically scroll down. Keep
going to you've highlighted ALL of the pictures in green.
Like THIS:

Next, let go of your button... then
click on a picture,.. HOLD DOWN Your left click button, and drag
it right over to the Flock Uploader Window. If you've done
it correctly, it'll look like this:

Click UPLOAD ~ when the photo
uploader has accepted all of your pictures. It should look
like this:

Now, you can either make your file
beforehand, in Photobucket, and use the drop-down menu to find the
correct file, OR you can create a new file at this time. In
this example, we'll create a new file... You'll want to click on
CREATE:

Now, a smaller window will open,
where you can create the new file in photobucket.
Simply type in your new file name, into the space provided, and
click OK.

Now, you'll want to click on, OK -
and then click on UPLOAD. Here's what the next screen looks
like:

Now... go get yourself something to
drink... make a phone call... watch a little TV... whatever...
depending on how many pictures you're uploading... it could take a
little while (I upload a TON at a time!).
The next thing you know... WALLA!! You're DONE!!
IF you still want the clickable
thumbnails, but don't want to use the flock browser... please see my illustrated tutorial
