I realized that even though most sellers on
the message boards (and in groups) have already
learned (one way or another! lol) how to post
pictures to the boards.... there's a BUNCH of
Newbies out there that could sure use a hand!
SO.....
Here's a picture tutorial that will
*hopefully* teach you how to do just that!
First... You'll want to log into your
Photobucket Account. If you don't have
one, you can sign up for a FREE account (or paid
- if you so desire!) by following this link:
Now... If you've never used
Photobucket before... it can be a LITTLE
intimidating... BUT... after uploading just a
few pictures, you'll find that it is REALLY user
friendly! So... Here goes!
First... you have to decide
if you'd like to make a new *Sub-Album*.
If you're posting to an eBay group... it's
really best (in MY opinion) to just use the main
album. There's something weird (I know,
VERY technical term! lol) about the file name
being too long - that sometimes makes the
pictures NOT show up. I haven't noticed
this on the main boards on eBay though... so the
choice is yours... Either way... if you'd like a
new Sub-Album - Type in the album name - where
the number TWO is... and click CREATE
(SEE #2 BELOW!). Then you'll see the
Sub-Album listed... just click onto that album,
and follow the next direction.
Otherwise... you can just
click on BROWSE (SEE #1)... then find the
picture that you'd like to upload (from your
computer) - Click onto that picture... and then
click OPEN -- (continue on the other lines - if
you want to upload more than one at a time!)
Now, click UPLOAD.
Depending on how big the file was (see my info
about re-sizing your pictures!), and how many
pictures you're uploading at one time (OH... and
don't forget about your connection speed -
dial-up, DSL, Broadband!) it can take from a few
seconds... to a few minutes.
Now... when you want to post
your picture into an eBay Message Board, or in a
private group... You click onto the middle line
under the picture, which says "HTML Tag".... and
then you'll right click and paste it into the
*Post a reply* box on the message board!
