If you'd like to be getting the most out of your
auctions... the one thing that you're going to have to get used to
doing (and KEEP doing), is research!
You need to make sure you use the *advanced
search* and check the *completed* auctions.
Change your search to *from highest*. This
will show you the similar auctions which sold for the most money.
This will help you out in a few different ways.
Some things that you want to make sure you look
for:
1 - Get an idea of how much your widget is
actually worth (on eBay... You can't compare what they're *worth*
in antique stores or other stores by you... That usually
has nothing to do with the eBay Marketplace!)
2 - Compare the starting prices! Some
things sell higher with a lower opening bid - Some things sell
higher with a higher opening bid.
3 - Take a GOOD look at the titles! This
may help you with finding better keywords for your own auction!
4 - Pay attention to the starting days and
times. Certain items really sell better at different times
and on different days.
