*TurboLister2 Instructions!*

I thought I'd put together some Step-by-Step Visual Instructions.  If you already know how to use TurboLister2, then you might not need these... but for those of you who don't... This should help you out a LOT!

(Need to make a new folder?  check this out! NEW Folder Tutorial)

If you haven't downloaded TL2 yet, here's a link:  TurboLister2 Download

After you open up TL2, you'll have to put in your UserID, and your Password... then you'll hit ENTER

This will be the next screen you see:

Now, you'll click on NEW... and you'll see this *Drop Down Menu*.

Click on CREATE NEW ITEM

This will be the next screen that you see:

#1 - The first thing you'll want to do, is to type the title.  Now remember, this may very well be one of the most important parts of your auction.  Please take your time, check the completed auctions, and come up with a *Key Word Rich* title, that will attract the MOST potential buyers!

#2 - Make sure you change the listing format to what type of listing you'd like it to be.

#3 - Type in your Start Price.  Make sure that you don't set the opening bid lower than you're satisfied to get for your item.  It could very well go for the opening bid, and you don't want to be left with regrets! (unless you're the gambling type of person! lol)

$500.00 or more

#4 - Here is where you'd put a Reserve price on your item.  This is NOT disclosed to the bidders automatically... and it's been *my* experience that this discourages bids.  Not in all cases, but in most... If you still really want to put a reserve on your auction... I would recommend disclosing it yourself, inside the body of your auction.  This does cost extra... here is the current fee list (as of 2-07)

Reserve Fees (fully refunded if item sells):

Reserve Price

Fee

$0.01 – $49.99

$1.00

$50.00 – $199.99

$2.00

$200.00 and up

1% of Reserve Price (up to $50)

#5 - If you'd like to add a *Buy it Now* (aka BIN) to your auction, here is the place where you'd put it.  This feature does cost extra... Here's a breakdown of the fees:

Buy It Now Price (US$)

Fee (US$)

US$0.01 – US$9.99

US$0.05

US$10.00 – US$24.99

US$0.10

US$25.00 – US$49.99

US$0.20

US$50.00 or more

US$0.25

#6 - This is where you put the quantity of items that you have for sale.  I've actually never used this before.

#7 - Here is where you'll be able to change the type of auction you'd like... You can pick from either 3, 5, 7 or 10 day auctions.  If you chose a store listing... you would have the choice of either 30 days, or GTC (Good Til Cancelled).

#1 - Here's where you put the ONE picture in your auction... that's right, you only put the ONE picture in... you're going to be using a picture host now, so you can add MORE pictures in the auction itself, without paying eBay anything extra!!

#2 - This is where... if you choose too... add the Gallery picture to your listing... I know it costs a bit, but it's been my experience, that with *MOST* items, it's worth the extra money as a listing option.  This is also the time that you'd want to add any other *upgrades* to your listing... such as borders, highlights, show as gifts... etc.

#3 - If you'd like to use a Pro Pack, or Value Pack, you can click it on at this time.  Here's the costs:

The next thing you would do... is copy and paste your HTML Auction Code, into the *Description Builder* Section.  After you've copied and pasted... You'll want to click on the *Description Builder* button at the bottom.  You'll then see this screen:

Make sure that the *DESIGN VIEW* tab is clicked... Then you'll be able to see the actual images, instead of just the HTML mumbo jumbo!  You'll want to scroll down a bit, until you see, the name of the template. (in this case, it's Blue Dawg Template)

You'll then highlight the title, and then you can just go ahead and type right overtop of it!

Now... onto changing that picture!

First you'll want to Click onto the picture itself (when you do that, you'll see those little tiny squares, like you do in the picture above)... then you can either hit backspace or delete (either one will work fine!).  After you do that... go to your *FLOCK* browser, and grab the picture you want.  Dragging the picture (Left click, and HOLD it down) to your TurboLister2 window, drop it right where you want it to go.

Now, you'll do the same thing with the description... simply highlight what is already typed there... and type right over it!  Simple as that!  If you purchased a Clothing Template - you'll move onto changing the chart (as shown below), if not, simply skip this step!

Again... just highlight what you want to change, and type right over it!

The last step will be your drag and drop thumbnail pictures!  You simply highlight the *filler* pictures in your template... and delete them...

Now, go to your FLOCK browser again... pick the pictures that you'd like to put in as thumbnails, and drag and drop them.

Here's something I do... after I drag and drop a picture... I click the blank space to the right of the picture... I hit the spacebar twice, and then drag & drop my next picture... This gives you a little bit of room between the pictures!

That's all you should have to do with your template...  You would've already given me the Payment & Shipping Details, and your links have already been customized for your auctions/store/me page/add to favorites/feedback pages.

Make sure you click SAVE!!!

Then you'll go back to the TurboLister Page... Where you'll scroll down to your shipping information.
